Project: Merrimack District Courthouse
Location: Merrimack, New Hampshire
Architect: Keith Hemingway, Architect
Completion Date: Spring, 2010
The Merrimack District Courthouse, completed in 2010 is a three story steel moment frame structure. The floors are framed with bar joists, and a metal form deck with concrete slab. The gable shaped roof is framed with prefabricated wood trusses supported on primary steel framing. The perimeter steel frame of the building provides lateral load resistance via its moment frame design. Special Inspection services were provided to the owner, in addition to customary design and construction phase services.
